The winners of the 2025 Teosto Prize are Mioko Yokoyama’s composition Mineralization and Kristo Laant’s works on DJ Kridlokk’s album Hai. Kristo Laanti graduated from the Pop & Jazz Conservatory of Music in 2023. Congratulations Kristo! <\/p>\n\n

The total prize of \u20ac40 000 will be shared equally between the winning authors.<\/p>\n\n

The six nominees and two winners of the Teosto Prize were chosen from among Finnish compositions published or premiered during 2024. The winners were selected by a four-person jury, including the 2024 Teosto Prize winners Jenni Kinnunen (Tinyhawk & Bizzarro) and Minna Leinonen, as well as members of the Teosto management team, invited by Janne Murto, Director of the Pop & Jazz Conservatory, and Ilkka Mattila, cultural editor of Helsingin Sanomat. <\/p>\n\n
