MUSIC PLAY SCHOOL CURRICULUM

The Adult Musicians is a low-threshold musical activity for adults and seniors who want to get away from it all and enjoy singing and playing with others, even if they have no previous musical or singing background. It’s never too late to take up music!

Why should you come to an adult club? Because it’s fun! Adult music is a relaxed musical hobby that provides a fun pastime and social contact with other like-minded people. In the adult choir, you will learn songs that can be sung together with children and grandchildren. It keeps you active and refreshes your memory. Adult Musicians can come without any previous background in music.

Adult muscari

The Adult Music Seminar is for anyone interested in relaxed group music! In the group you sing, play, listen and even move a little to the music, using the working methods of the muskar. The muskar class has instruments to play, but you can also bring an instrument from home.

The music to be played will be shaped according to the wishes and objectives of the group, with the use of brass band singing, folk music and other easy repertoire, and will become more difficult as the group so wishes and as their playing skills improve. Adult Muskar is a low-threshold musical activity where no previous playing or singing experience is necessary. It is also suitable for those working with children.

Group size: 7 pupils
Hour duration: 60 min

Senior Citizens’ Musque

The Senior Musicians is a low-threshold activity for older people interested in community music, where you can fill your afternoons, activate your brain, refresh your memory and make new friends. No previous musical background is necessary.

In the Senior Musical Society we sing, play, listen and move to music once a week with a group of adults, get away from everyday life to music and learn something new at the same time. Using Muskar’s relaxed working methods, you will learn familiar and new songs, songs and accompaniment, from which you can get ideas, for example, for home music-making moments with your grandchildren.

The activities take into account the wishes of the group: we choose the instruments to play together and those who want to can also perform. Objectives and wishes will take shape during the first few meetings.

Group size: 7 pupils
Hour duration: 60 min
