At Pop & Jazz Conservatory, we want to emphasize that you can learn at any age. Our music lessons are for all ages, from babies to senior citizens.
Every year, we guide hundreds of children and adults into life-enriching musical activities and train high-quality music and music production professionals.
The importance of music is incredible: it activates the brain, especially in childhood, but music has positive effects on well-being throughout your life. Research shows that children who listen to music are more attentive than others. In adulthood, music improves memory and reduces the risk of dementia in the elderly.

Music education from babies to senior citizens
We offer music lessons for all music lovers: children, teenagers, adults and senior citizens. The study path at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory can start as a baby in a family group of music play school. For slightly older children under school age, there is a choice of rhythm or instrumental groups.
Children at school age can choose, for example, a band workshop or a choir. More ambitious school-aged music lovers can apply for basic education in the arts: instrumental coaching or basic music education.
Music play school and band workshop area also available for adults and senior citizens.
The Pop & Jazz Conservatory offers vocal education and training for those who are interested in music as a profession and want to get a Vocational Qualification in Music.
Further Vocational Qualification for Music Producers can be studied by those who are already working in the music industry or have already the Vocational Qualification.
How to apply to study
Music Playschools
Anyone can join, with no entrance exams or aptitude tests.
Band Workshop and Choir until age of 13
Anyone can join, with no entrance exams or aptitude tests.
Basic Education in the Arts
Applications for instrumental coaching and basic music studies in instrumental and vocal studies are made through student selection. New pupils are admitted to fill any vacancies.
Vocational Education and Training
Students are selected in a yearly two-stage application process.

Pop & Jazz Open on kaikille avointa musiikkiopetusta – lähtötasosta tai asuinpaikasta riippumatta. Pop & Jazz Open tarjoaa Suomen parasta rytmimusiikin verkko- ja lähiopetusta lähes 50 vuoden ammattitaidolla.
