The Pop & Jazz Conservatory is looking to recruit
Part-time part-time English teacher
for an indefinite employment contract starting 7.1.2026 or by agreement.
The duties of the teacher include teaching, assessment and personalisation of the students of the Pop & Jazz Conservatoire’s music degree programme. Teaching is mainly done in small groups or through personal tutoring or online teaching. The teacher’s tasks also include the production of online teaching material where necessary.
We require a teaching qualification in English and either experience or a strong interest in teaching an undergraduate vocational qualification and the competency objectives. We will also consider applicants with a background in advanced English language and pedagogy.
We value your knowledge of the music industry and your experience and expertise in online teaching. The Pop & Jazz Conservatory has a self-learning online platform.
The number of hours per week during the semesters is around 2-3. It is also possible to include teaching of other common subjects, depending on the needs of the institution and the applicant’s studies.
Remuneration is determined by the collective agreement for the private education sector. The salary of a qualified English teacher is €34.77 per hour (for a Master’s degree).
