Band workshops are open education groups for 7-12 year olds, where playing is the main activity! There are band workshops for all ages, including adults. There are also groups for those who have already chosen their own instrument.

The band workshop offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed musical experience once a week. Classes introduce you to traditional band instruments: electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, vocals, drum kit and percussion, sometimes changing instruments. The students themselves have a say in what is played. In the band workshop, students practice group work skills and learn the basics of playing together.

One of the aims of the band workshops is to provide those interested in continuing their music studies with the basic skills to apply for instrumental coaching or basic art education.

If your child has already chosen an instrument, he or she can enrol in a group where they play their own instruments.

Band workshop for 9-12 year olds with their own instrument

Band workshop with their own instrument. You can sign up for this group if you have already bought your own instrument and want to play with other people of the same age. Please write the instrument you are signing up with in the details field of the registration form. Once the season starts, the composition of the private instrument band workshop will be refined and the teachers will have time to assess whether the registrations form meaningful band combinations: there can be a maximum of two players of each instrument in the same band. A student’s band may change on this basis.
