What is music playschool? Muskar, or music playschool, is early music education, i.e. music education for children under school age. Pop & Jazz The Conservatory also offers Music playschool for adults and seniors.
Music playschool is for children aged 0-6, adults and seniors who enjoy making music together. Music playschools have fun, enjoy singing and playing together, have fun, get to know each other and experience new things.
For children under school age, music playschool offers a fun activity for young children and adults to do together, and for children a little older, an activity all their own. Music playschool is a fun activity, it has also been proven to have a positive impact on a child’s development in many ways.
In the music playschool for adults, participants make music together. It is suitable also for those who work with children, for example. Adult music playschool is a low-threshold music hobby that one can join even if she or he doesn’t yet have playing or singing skills!
The objectives of the music playschool

The aim of the music playschool for children under school age is to awaken interest and love for music and to support a balanced growth of the child’s overall personality. The music play school provides a good foundation for possible future musical studies and develops a holistic musicality.
At music playschool, your child will have positive experiences of music and the world of music. Through shared musical moments, a sense of belonging is strengthened and the child has the opportunity to practice performing and enjoy the performances of others.

Music playschool for adults and seniors provides a fun, relaxed activity, a pleasant pastime and social contact with other like-minded people. In Music playschool you learn songs that can be sung together with children and grandchildren. Music playschool keeps you active and refreshes your memory, and you can come without any previous background in music.

Music playschool’s policies
Music, play and interaction, auditory learning and self-expression form the basis of music playschool. Lessons include singing, chatting, listening to music, playing instruments, musical movement and combining music with other creative expression.
Instruments in music playschool include rhythm instruments such as cones, maracas, triangles, gongs and quiros, melody instruments such as xylophones and other tile instruments, percussion instruments such as djembes, bongos, and ring drums. Other instruments include kanteles, recorders, ukuleles, acoustic guitars and band instruments such as small electric guitars and basses, class drums, drum kits, electric pianos and vocal microphones.
Participants have the possibility to perform in music playschool Christmas and spring concerts. Through performing, one gains experience in performing situations and guidance in performing behaviour.
