The Pop & Jazz Conservatory library is a cultural treasure trove
The Metropolia and Pop & Jazz Conservatory Library is a library open to all on the Arabia campus of Metropolia.
The Pop & Jazz Conservatory Library is one of the 3AMK libraries and is open to all. With one library card you can use not only the Pop & Jazz Conservatory’s materials, but also all the libraries of Metropolia, Haaga-Helia and Laurea with their printed materials.
You will find material specifically in these areas:
- music
- digital design and communication
- cinema and television
- performance and theatre technology
- conservation
- cultural production
- design: interior architecture, textile design, industrial design, XR-design
- theatre and performing arts
- field of vision

Library facilities
The library is located in the Arabia 135 industrial block, next to the Pop & Jazz Conservatory, in the immediate vicinity of the Arabianranta Library of the Helsinki City Library.
The Pop & Jazz Conservatory library has spaces for different needs:
- workspaces and laptop workstations
- the state of quiet work
- collaboration space (available to metropolitans via My-Calendar)
- three patron computers (visitor IDs available during library hours)
Opening hours
The office hours are Mon-Fri 8-20 (during term time). Staff are available on weekdays from 12-15.
The opening hours of the property will be respected and may therefore be shorter, for example on public holidays. The property is closed on public holidays.
In your own time, you can
- use the library’s facilities and equipment
- borrow and return at vending machines
- collect reservations from the self-service shelf

The library of the Metropolia and Pop & Jazz Conservatory is located in Arabia, at the south end of the campus. The easiest way to get to the library is via the Arabianranta City Library (Hämeentie 135 A). From there, take the stairs to the library.

Accessibility: the Pop & Jazz Conservatory Library is located on the 3rd floor of the Arabic Centre. The easiest way to get to the library is via the Arabia Centre lift.
