Did you know that the Pop & Jazz Conservatory has spaces for rent in Helsinki’s Arabianranta, from studio to concert hall! With over 5,000 square metres of teaching space, there’s plenty to choose from.
The Arabic Hall and the Popjazz Hall provide an excellent setting for concerts and other public events. Our studio facilities allow you to make high-quality recordings. Our classrooms offer teaching facilities for different instrumental groups.
Arabic hall for large public events

If you need a large rental space in Helsinki, Arabia Hall is the perfect venue for all kinds of events. With its versatile equipment, retractable grandstand and good acoustics, Arabiasali is a great space for even the most demanding event. The Arabiasali serves as a concert hall for the Pop & Jazz Conservatory and the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences’ pop/jazz music programme.
The concert hall has an auditorium-style rising grandstand seating up to 250 people. If the auditorium is retracted, the hall can accommodate a maximum of 250 people. The auditorium can accommodate up to 350 people.
The hall’s presentation technology is built to 2021 state-of-the-art standards. The Arabic Room is designed and equipped to meet the requirements of modern distance and online learning.
The Arabic Hall has a multi-camera system and a recording control room.

Popjazz hall – rental space in Helsinki for 100 people
The small Popjazz concert hall can hold up to 100 people. The hall also serves as a rehearsal space for a big band, for example. The equipment includes a club sound system, light performance lighting, a Yamaha C7 grand piano, basic band equipment, a large screen (12m2) and a video projector. The space can be converted into a meeting/lecture room.
Classrooms with a wide range of equipment
The classrooms are divided into bass, guitar, voice, wind, piano, drum and ensemble classes. The band classes are equipped for the whole band. Almost all classes have distance learning equipment.
Classes and their equipment:
- Bass 5: Two amplifiers and a keyboard.
- Guitar classes 10: Two amplifiers and a keyboard.
- 5 singing classes: acoustic piano and small vocal equipment.
- 7 wind categories: acoustic piano.
- Piano classes 7: Two acoustic pianos.
- Drum set 5 pcs: Two drum sets.
- 6 band categories: basic band equipment including drums, bass amp, two guitar amps, electric piano, synthesizer and vocal equipment.
- Theoretical classes of 5: 8 pieces of transcription equipment and basic AV equipment plus piano.
