Wondering where to find a band for your wedding? If your wedding reception is in the capital region, the answer is clear: Pop & Jazz Conservatory! You can hire talented young students to perform, for example, for various private events, family functions, etc, for a customer or staff event, conference, seminar or side event of your company or organisation.
Our ensembles perform mainly jazz music, evergreens, Finnish and foreign well-known pop/rock songs and party music. On an ad hoc basis, we can also tailor a more specific musical programme to your needs, for example a choir, a vocal ensemble or a fanfare group of several wind players.
Small groups
A solo pianist or guitarist can set the mood at a dinner or cocktail party, for example.
A solo saxophonist, flautist or trumpeter is guaranteed to catch the attention of your guests. They can move around when they play and don’t usually require an electronic sound system. Great for welcome music when guests arrive or for a tour of an art gallery.
A duo or trio already feels a bit more like a “band”. Two or three players and a soloist add variety to the soundscape. At its best, the energy between the players will inspire your guests. You can even dance a little to the jazz trio!
Music performances
Short musical performances add atmosphere and rhythm to events such as award ceremonies, launches, academic anniversaries, end-of-term celebrations in educational institutions and, of course, private events such as weddings, christenings or memorial services.
A band for weddings or other events
Are you organising a wedding, a party, a company summer party or any other big celebration, such as a graduation party or a raucous fifties party where people want to dance and party?
Our bands are usually 5-6 members and usually consist of a vocal soloist, keyboard player, guitarist, bassist and drummer. Larger formations (e.g. with a wind section) are discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Our bands will play the party and dance music of your choice and are guaranteed to raise the atmosphere to the roof!
